David & Barbara Kittrell established their first stained glass Studio in 1980. Then located in the Olla Podrida in North Dallas, the Studio specialized in custom stained & etched glass, sold supplies, and taught classes & workshops.
Over the years the Studio continued to grow, and in 1990 they joined with Michael Riffkind to establish an art glass gallery specializing in contemporary North American art glass. In 1995 they moved to the Village on the Parkway in Addison where they continued to expand. Michael retired from the business in 2014.
Over the years the Gallery has won accolades as one of the finest art glass galleries in the country, focusing on outstanding and innovative work from contemporary glass makers. In 2015 Barbara moved the Gallery again, merging operations with Bob Malenfant at Southwest Gallery, Dallas’ oldest and most respected fine arts gallery. Now located on Sigma Rd in North Dallas, the sister galleries occupy a 16,000 square foot space offering a wide range of original paintings, sculpture, & custom framing, in addition to Dallas’ finest selection of art glass. |
In 2015 David moved the Studio to its current location in Richardson where he continues to operate a full service art glass studio. He specializes in designing and executing leaded, fused, and beveled architectural art glass, as well as repairs, and restorations. The Studio teaches classes in stained glass, fusing, and beadmaking, and offers a full line of glass and supplies for any project. Their clientele includes designers, architects, builders, churches, and residential homeowners. Let our talented team bring your dream project to reality! |
