Joy Jackson Works

Joy Jackson has been blowing glass and creating art since 1996.  She makes all of her one-of-a-kind pieces in Seattle, WA.  Joy teaches art through Coyote Junior High and glass blowing at The Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle.  Joy holds a BFA in studio art glass from Anderson University in Indiana and a MFA degree for glass from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia.  Joy has been a member of the hot-shop team at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.  Joy was awarded a Michael Kennedy Memorial scholarship from Pratt Fine Arts Center in 2003. She designs and makes all of her pieces using new and traditional techniques.
